Kurumas Merun
Wahoo hunting, known locally as Kurumas Merun, is a traditional Maldivian method practised for generations. We mimic a flying fish with a pole to tease the wahoo, then strike with a hand spear when it commits. No rods. No reels. Just skill, timing and courage.
